Better Life Homebased Healthcare PLC is a new home healthcare business that was founded in 2022 in response to the growing need for home healthcare services in Ethiopia. The country's healthcare system is overburdened, and many people do not have access to quality care.

The company is run by Dr. Mulugeta Gebremariam, Dr. Mihertab Ermias, and Dr. Eliezer Haile, all of whom are general practitioners. They are passionate about providing quality healthcare to all Ethiopians, and they believe that everyone deserves to receive the care they need, regardless of their financial situation

Mission

The company’s mission is to provide high-quality, affordable home healthcare services to patients in Ethiopia. Its services include nursing care, phlebotomy and laboratory services, physiotherapy, COVID-19 testing, maternal and newborn care, psychiatric nurse care, post-hospitalization care, palliative care, telehealth, and rental of medical equipment.

Objective

The objective of the project is to improve the quality of life for patients by providing them with access to affordable, high-quality care in the comfort of their own homes. The project also aims to reduce the burden on the country’s healthcare system by providing care to patients who would otherwise have to travel to hospitals or clinics.
